Residential - Federal

* 30% of reasonable installed system cost with no maximum

* The home served by the system does not have to be the taxpayer’s principle residence

 

Residential – State

* 25% of reasonable installed system cost up to a maximum credit of $2,000

* Residential credit is nonrefundable, but unused credit may be carried over up to four years.

 * A non business entity that leases a residential system is eligible for the credit and may use the credit for no more than seven years from the initiation of the lease.

 

 

Commercial, Industrial, Utility – Federal

* 30% of reasonable installed system cost with no maximum

 

Commercial, Industrial, Utility – State

* 10% of reasonable installed system cost up to a maximum credit of $50,000

 

Rocky Mountain Power Rebate

* Residential   $2.00 per watt up to 3kw ($6,000)

* Commercial $2.00 per watt up to 15kw ($30,000)

* Eligible systems must be grid connected, net metered and the statewide maximum       system size for net metering is 25kw
